Thursday, Novemeber 15, marked World Philosophy Day, although many people proved unaware on the streets of Dublin. The video was shot as part of a larger feature by journalist Joe Humphreys, who came up with the video’s storyboard and the original “fridge door philosophies” theme.
People around various Dublin spots were asked what their favourite philosophy or saying is and why. Tattoo artists were also interviewed to see what phrases people loved enough to have them permanently placed on their body.

This video was shot on a Flip camera, without a tripod. Wind caused minor issues but was for the most part avoidable. Lighting was also poor in places but was easily fixed by changing the angle of the shot.
