Video Blog/ Life through the lens

This video was shot and posted on Wednesday, October 31, after the official launch of Dublin’s new Segways. The machines, which are already used in about 300 cities worldwide, are the first for Ireland. As a result, they caused many pedestrians to stop and stare as the garda√≠ zipped up and down the street. The Segways will be put to use in Dublin’s busy shopping district, such as Grafton Street, to increase visibility.

This video was shot on a Flip camera, without a tripod. There were no major issues with audio or video. Since it was Halloween, there were a lot of people out on the street to interview as well as some great opportunities for more comical shots.
